Amikor a Microsoft nyílt forrású programot ad ki, vagy a Sony ingyenesen letölthetővé tesz zenét, akkor az ember önkéntelenül elkezd gondolkodni, hogy vajon hol lehet a csapda. Most például kaptunk egy nem túl hifi, de netes felhasználásra tökéletes, szabadon terjeszthető Pearl Jam klipet. A fájlban ugyan nincs benne a licensz, de csináltam egy képernyőképet bizonyítékul:

Mint látható, a klip a Creative Commons by-nc-nd 2.5, azaz „Nevezd meg! - Ne add el! - Ne változtasd! 2.5” licensze alatt érhető el. Ez azt jelenti, hogy szabadon másolhatod, terjesztheted és felrakhatod a weboldaladra a következő korlátozásokkal: nem változtatod meg, tilos a kereskedelmi felhasználás, és mindig fel kell tüntetned a szerzőt és a licenszet.
